i don't think it will be a problem. it matters more if people like your art or not. if it is in color or not i don't think people care to much. if you enjoy what you do that is the most important thing ^^ anyway the refugees are new very new. i have not seen that before but i hope they like it here just as i hope you like it here as well. anyway welcome to NG ^^

@NyanaCreation @YOGB i am sure you will do fine. i have seen some color blind artist who are pretty good and mabey you can experiment with colors when your ready. anyway i wish you the best and mabey i'll see some of your art work floating around ^^

Hey there! Like NyanaCreation says (and Tom himself, woah!) the color doesn't matter so much as the quality, but yes, simple black and white sketches might be seen as doodles by some users, but there are artists here who pretty only draw in black and white as well: https://doomroar.newgrounds.com/art

Generally, I'd think the distinction's made by how detailed a piece. If it's really simple you'd feel like it may as well be in color, but detailed black and white work is AWESOME too. You capture the detail better without color some times. In your case I'd say just keep going, improving; you'll get in eventually. ;)

Your art so far's not bad, but it is a bit simple.

As for the new wave: I love it! Having a hard time to keep up but I miss the days when there was actually more content than I could really keep track of too. :) Seems like that's all coming back. So much NSFW work everywhere though. XD I guess that's both good and bad...

Black and white is ok because someone I follow posts black and white horror stuff and they even made frontpage sometimes.
